Goa Government Gives Approval To Awaited Goa Sunburn EDM Festival

    The much awaited and anticipated Goa Sunburn Electronic Dance Music (EDM) festival has finally been granted permission the Goa government.

    The festival is touted to be the biggest EDM festival in Asia and is claimed to attract EDM fans from more than 30 countries from all over world. The festival lasts for a period of three days every year wherein some of the most renowned DJs of the world are the most important attractions of the show. The festival which is held at the Vegator beach every year is known for its unlimited fun and frolic of participants.

    The festival is to be held as usual in December this year also after the Goa Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar recently announced that ‘in-principle’ permission had been given to the festival organizers to hold the festival. However there is still one hurdle remaining – the organizers of the festival have to agree to address all the conditions to hold the festival that have been put forward by the Goa government, said the tourism minister.

    If everything goes well, the festival will be held from December 27 to December 29.

    For all the Sunburn events in the state, the promoter of the festival, Precept Live, is partnering with the Goa-based nightlife and promotions firm Klassique according to latest reports.

    It has also been reported Sunburn Festival 2019 will see Maceo Plex and Luciano performing live.  This will be the first occasion that the house and techno producers will perform in India and will feature in the festival’s new SOLARIS concept. the best in international homegrown house and techno is aimed to be brought together in this brand new venture.

    This is the 12th year that the Sunburn Goa festival is to be organized. According to reports the value of the passes is set at INR 2750 onwards. Enthusiasts can get the tickets at the venue as well as through online on websites such as BookMyShow at a very nominal additional charge.
