Located in the southern part of the state of Sikkim, Ravangla is a quaint little town in the laps of the Menam Hill in Eastern Himalayas. 65 km away from the state capital Gangtok, Ravangla or Rawangla as commonly called is a perfect spot to let yourself loose from the hustle bustle of the city and spend your holidays.
The town has become one of the upcoming tourist spots in the state of Sikkim and is known for its scenic beauty and the great view of the Himalayan range that one can get from here. Located at an altitude of around 8000 ft. from the sea level, this little town of Ravangla lies in between the two major tourist spots of Sikkim- Gangtok, and Pelling and lies in between Maenam and Tendong Hill. It is well connected by the state highways to other major towns of the state. Ravangla is also the starting point of a trek to Maenam La Wildlife Sanctuary.
