Taki is a border town in the bank of Ichhamati River. It is a town in North 24 Pargana District of West Bengal, India. Across the river lies Bangladesh. The river is the chief attraction of the place. Every year people from both sides of the river, Indians and Bangladeshis, meet on the Ichhamati to celebrate the Durga idol immersing ritual on the last day of the Durga Puja.
